Decorating for Christmas

The holidays are so much fun this year.  Lucy really gets it and she's having a great time counting down the days with us to Santa.  Here are some pictures of trimming the tree and making gingerbread cookies.  Lucy was in charge of decorating the cookies.  Nate was in charge of quality control.  Daisy was in charge of cleanup.

Summer 2009

We've been having a great summer! Nate had his first birthday party. We've been to NH for Dave and Marcy's wedding. Lucy and Eloise were flower girls. We visited with Grandma in MA and we visited with Nini and Papa at Beech Mtn. Here are some highlight photos.

Nate is so excited about the "Quackalong" Papa gave him. But, these scenes make us think he may be yearning for something bigger...

We went to visit Great Papa this weekend. We missed him at Easter, but were happy to find him in good spirits and good health.

Gray finally caught Nate's reaction to fruit on tape (must be the ascorbic acid in the baby food). Nate's also started laughing at himself and this reaction... But he still goes back for more.

Nate is on the move!

Nate started crawling backwards about a month ago. He progressed to forward motion about 2 weeks ago and now is adept at the crawl, sit, crawl again pattern. Pretty soon he'll be walking! He loves to "walk" while holding onto fingers.

November, December...

Christmas has come and gone. We visited grandma in the SNOW! Santa was very generous. Lucy has started preschool 2 days a week, has made new friends, and has already learned how to jump "very high" (according to her). Nate is growing every day, "chatting" up a storm, and wanting to be able to run around after his sister! He's a very giggly boy- it's so easy to get him to smile and laugh- but we're still working on getting it on video.
